A completed Application
for Admission is required of all new students and students
returning after an absence of one year. This applies to all
students, including those taking courses for
self-improvement or personal interest. Admission to the
college does not assure acceptance into any particular
program or course.

- There is no application fee or deadline. International
students have additional requirements and should contact
the International Student Advisor at 970-339-6508.

Assessment Process and Meet the Assessment Requirements

Assessment tests may be taken by distance (contact
distance@aims.edu ). Study Guides are available.
Prior college courses, ACT/SAT scores, Advance Placement
courses may be used to meet the assessment requirements.

academic advisor will explain and help you understand
your assessment scores, assist you in academic and
career planning, and help you plan a course schedule

Obtain your Web
Services Username and Password
- Students can use
Web Services to register, make payments, view their
schedule of classes, and check grades online. Your Web
Service Username and password will be sent to you.

Release of Confidentiality
In compliance with the Family Education Rights and
Privacy Act (FERPA) regulation 34 C.F.R. part 99.30, the
disclosure of information from a student’s education
record requires the parent or eligible student to
provide signed and dated written consent before Aims
Community College discloses personally identifiable
information from the student’s education records, except
as provided in section 99.31. Download:

Transfer Credit Evaluation
Request
All undergraduate credit hours awarded within the prior
ten years from any accredited higher education
institution will be transferred into an Aims Community
College Degree Program if they apply to the completion
of the student's graduation requirements. Credits older
than ten years, however, will also receive careful
consideration for transfer. Download:
