Create your own web page! This class is an introduction to Web Page design and HyperText Markup Language, the authoring software used on the Internet’s World Wide Web. By the end of class, students will have designed and written their own simple web page and have a general understanding of the tools and sites available to help refine and improve their future pages. PREREQUISITE:  CED-644 Intro to the Internet or equivalent experience.

This follow-up class from HTML-How to Write Your Own Web Pages-Level 1, covers intermediate techniques in web page design. These include tables, frames, file structure, document layout, various tips, tricks and hacks, as well as an introduction to advanced web design tools such as forms, JavaScript, and cascading style sheets. Textbook will be supplemented by handouts from the instructor.

PREREQUISITE:  CED-741 HTML - Level 1 or equivalent experience
